Free PS Plus Games September 2021
Another month, another round of free games for PS Plus subscribers to download. Like every month following the release of Sony’s next-gen PS5 console, this month’s roster includes two PS4 games and one PS5.
The big ticket item (depending on who you ask) seems to be IO Interactive’s Hitman 2. The other titles include Predator: Hunting Grounds, and Overcooked: All You Can Eat.
Hitman 2
One of the two games released for the PS4 console, Hitman 2 is the second game in the Hitman trilogy released in 2018 by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. This stealth title came after the success Hitman which was a revival of the older titles such as Hitman: Absolution (2012).
With the developers focusing on a more story-centric approach to the Hitman series, the game follows Agent 47 on his 007-esque missions. The game is set in more tropical settings for missions where players target high-profile persons to assassinate. Players have all kinds of tools at their disposal as they track down their target through these lively missions.
Predator: Hunting Grounds
The second game releasing to PS4 gamers is IllFonics’s Predator: Hunting Grounds. This PVP shooter is a multiplayer game of cat and mice but the mice are armed with machine guns and the cat can smell your fear.
While one person plays as the predator, the other three members of the lobby are tasked to hunt down intel or eliminate a drug lord. The objective for the predator is to hunt down the three other players before they kill you or can complete their mission.
If the predator is taken down, the remaining players will have to guard a location from swarms of AI. Weapons and equipment will become unlocked as players progress through games.
Overcooked: All You Can Eat
On the indie side of this month’s free games we have Team17’s Overcooked: All You Can Eat.
A chaotic multiplayer where players prepare as many recipes as they can before time runs out. Up to four players can join and now they can connect online and continue the chaotic mess that is this game.
